I hope you don’t mind the interior related posts, because here’s another one! I wanted a simple lamp in my sofa corner and got inspired by a couple I saw on Pinterest. I wanted to share with you how I made it. It’s really simple!
I bought the shelf bracket at IKEA (Ekby Stödis). To fit the cord through the hole, I had to make the holes a little bigger, using a drill. I bought the fabric covered cord and socket at a hardware store. The socket cover is from a small shop in Copenhagen called Le Bix. Next you need a bit of electrician finesse. My dad showed me how to connect the socket to the cord as well as a plug. It’s very easy, and I’m sure there are guides on the internet you could use! Simply attach the socket to the cord and place the socket cover over it. Screw it onto the wall, add a bulb and voila! I love it :D

Det ser jo SÅ godt ud! Virkelig god idé. Jeg har længe været på udkig efter et flot og billigt alternativ til Muuto-lampen, så TAK for dette tip!
