I love a good face mask! Obviously because it’s great for my skin, but mostly because I find it soothing and comforting to pamper myself. Just chill out with an audio book, a cup of tea and face mask. Here are some of my favourites, for every budget
A cleansing, mineral clay mask for all skin types. Helps unclogs pores and remove impurities.
Contains exfoliating bits, and feel really nice on the skin. It smells kinda weird (my boyfriend think it smells like tequila. I’m not quite sure about that, though)
Removes dead skin cells for radiant skin. Brightens the skin by reducing the appearence of fine lines and scaring.
I use this mask to get fid of my acne scaring. I also get really dull skin, and this is super effective. The skin feels tingly when the mask is applied and I quite like that you can “feel” the mask working.
Avocado and honey £5?
Avocado’s are not only delicious, their high fat content helps moisturize the skin. Honey is antibacterial and therefore helps clean pores.
This is a wonderful natural homemade mask, that you can even eat if you’re feeling peckish. Just mash a tablespoon of avocado with a few squirts of honey. Leave on the skin for 30 minutes.
Something really exciting is launching today. My talented friend Patrick Pankalla has been hard at work for a year to realize his dream of creating his own jewelry line. Say hello to PERSUEDE!
The collection consists of rings, bracelets and earrings; all handmade of solid 925 sterling silver. Currently available from the webshop. My picks
In 2015 i completely simplified my beauty routines. Ever since I was in my early teenage years, I’ve been wearing a rather baffling amount of makeup and generally been more or less obsessed with beauty. After I became acne-free (more about that HERE) during 2014, my confidence approved along side my skin. Therefore my makeup routines have been reduced significantly. Something You may have noticed in my lack of videos and posts about beauty.
These are the 3 beauty products I’ve been loving in 2015:
Lancôme Youth Activating Concentrate A serum I started using in the spring, and almost used up. It claims to reduce fine lines, give glowing skin and renewed elasticity. I can say anything about fine lines, but my scars are less visible. I’ve used many different peel masks, that surely helped too though.
But overall my skin looks great! I don’t get breakouts anymore, something that occurred before I started using the product. My skin feels lovely and happy. This is the only skincare product I’ve slavishly used for most of 2015.
Toni&Guy Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo This is the absolute best dry shampoo I’ve had my hands on! It removes excess oil beautifully and on top of that gives great volume! The only downside is that it does leave a slightly white residue. Now that my hair colour is on the dark side (call me Vader), this is a lot more visible. Total bummer!
Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Créme 234 is the most gorgeous orangey red liipstick. It’s not drying and quite long lasting. The packaging is perfection and feel great in your hands, with a magnet in the lip. The colour is fresh and just awesome.
2015 was in many ways a pretty crazy year for me. A lot of shit happened, but also a bunch of amazing things. I was thinking of making a 2015 recap video and take you through the year that went. Is that something that sounds interesting?
