I don’t talk much about fragrances and it’s not something I find very *important* to a happy life. I often forget to apply it and get tired of the same flowery/fruity scents out there. If you’ve been here a while, you might recall my perfume collection video from 2015. A lot has changed!
On a spring day a few years ago, I was introduced to something completely forreign to me. Unisex fragrances! Well, that was years ago, and since then I’ve found my 5 favourite unisex frangrances. Here they are.
My first unisex fragrance! Before getting my hands on this, my favourite fragrances were flowery or fruity, very feminine scents like Marc Jacobs Daisy* and Burberry Body.
Then I found this in a goody bag from a PR agency and tried it out. I was stunned! I had never smelled anything like it. It instantly put images into my mind of a beautiful curly haired man with hazel eyes. (Imagine Finn Wolfhard as an adult.) And I was so intrigued by it. I got and still do – at lot of compliments on it.
This is a newer addition to my perfume collection, but is without a doubt my current favourite! It’s almost a shame that this particullar scent only comes in a rather tiny 15 ml bottle. The brand Verdúu makes these fragrance collaboration with up-and-coming fashion designers, and the idea is that you match your perfume with your outfit. Therefore the small bottle.
This might be one of the most hyped unisex fragrances. A few years ago, this brand made quite a stir in the beauty community, because of their niche molecular fragrances. The only scent note in 01 is the aroma-molecule Iso E Super. It’s smells different on everyone, so there’s really no saying what it’ll smell like on you, if you haven’t tried it. On me, it’s a mysterious musky that I can hardly smell myself, but others can.
Another new-ish fragrance to me. I gotta be honest, I might have picked this one up mainly because of the name #S. I like to think it’s a scent especially made for me, haha. Some intereseting notes in this is red wine and leather. Two very intriguing notes, that I really like about this fragrance.
Maybe one of the most popular unisex fragrances out there. To me this is kind of a classic. If I’m unsure what fragrance I feel like wearing 9 out of 10 times I pick this. It’s just a good stable. However, if I just looked at the notes in this, I wouldn’t think I’d love it. There’s quite a bit of fruit and flower notes, but along with the bergamot and musk, it just works!
