I don’t talk much about fragrances and it’s not something I find very *important* to a happy life. I often forget to apply it and get tired of the same flowery/fruity scents out there. If you’ve been here a while, you might recall my perfume collection video from 2015. A lot has changed!
On a spring day a few years ago, I was introduced to something completely forreign to me. Unisex fragrances! Well, that was years ago, and since then I’ve found my 5 favourite unisex frangrances. Here they are.
My first unisex fragrance! Before getting my hands on this, my favourite fragrances were flowery or fruity, very feminine scents like Marc Jacobs Daisy* and Burberry Body.
Then I found this in a goody bag from a PR agency and tried it out. I was stunned! I had never smelled anything like it. It instantly put images into my mind of a beautiful curly haired man with hazel eyes. (Imagine Finn Wolfhard as an adult.) And I was so intrigued by it. I got and still do – at lot of compliments on it.
This is a newer addition to my perfume collection, but is without a doubt my current favourite! It’s almost a shame that this particullar scent only comes in a rather tiny 15 ml bottle. The brand Verdúu makes these fragrance collaboration with up-and-coming fashion designers, and the idea is that you match your perfume with your outfit. Therefore the small bottle.
This might be one of the most hyped unisex fragrances. A few years ago, this brand made quite a stir in the beauty community, because of their niche molecular fragrances. The only scent note in 01 is the aroma-molecule Iso E Super. It’s smells different on everyone, so there’s really no saying what it’ll smell like on you, if you haven’t tried it. On me, it’s a mysterious musky that I can hardly smell myself, but others can.
Another new-ish fragrance to me. I gotta be honest, I might have picked this one up mainly because of the name #S. I like to think it’s a scent especially made for me, haha. Some intereseting notes in this is red wine and leather. Two very intriguing notes, that I really like about this fragrance.
Maybe one of the most popular unisex fragrances out there. To me this is kind of a classic. If I’m unsure what fragrance I feel like wearing 9 out of 10 times I pick this. It’s just a good stable. However, if I just looked at the notes in this, I wouldn’t think I’d love it. There’s quite a bit of fruit and flower notes, but along with the bergamot and musk, it just works!
DISCLAIMER: Some of these products are PR gifts, but opinions are entirely my own.
Autumn has really settled in! While I always feel blue (heh, get it?) about summer being over, surroundings like these makes me quite fond of autumn actually. Just look at the colour of those leaves!
Also, is glitter shoes the best thing ever? I think so. These Monki glitter ankle boots are sooOooOO cute, however they are a bit tight on my wide clowns feet. But I’d rather suck it up, than NOT wearing these beauties. Plus, it’s like a sock and a shoe in one. Me gusta! Do you remember them from my post last month? I’ve been wearing them a lot since then!
This week’s wishlist is influenced by the incredibly freezing morning wind, that got me down with a cold all weekend. You might think that a flowy dress isn’t exactly winter wear, but paired with a high neck wool jacket and wool tights, you’ll sure feel warm. And red lips. Just beacuse.
